Kisses Candy Bowl

This is an auction for a painting (6 inches x 8 inches) created by me, which I call “Kisses Candy Bowl.” It was created on gessoed panel with high quality oil paint. I love popping Kisses candy in my mouth. Painting this was fun because I got to eat the candy when it was done.

Storage Jar with Blue Flowers

sold

Hi, my name is William Grant and this is an auction for a painting (8 inches x 6 inches) created by me, which I call “Storage Jar with Blue Flowers.” It was created on gessoed panel with high quality oil paint. I found the jar in a storage room in the basement and it reminded me of something my grandmother might have used to store her wonderfully delicious sugar cookies in. I can see myself at her house a young boy trying to sneak in grab one. Painting this brought back some wonderful memories and I hope it does so for you also.

Gourd

Hi, my name is William Grant and this is an auction for a painting (7 inches x 5 inches) created by me, which I call “Gourd.” It was created on gessoed panel with high quality oil paint. I saw the gourd sitting on top of the television set and I had to paint it. I hope you enjoy it enough to see it hanging on one of your walls.

Cinnamon & Sugar Shaker

Hi, my name is William Grant and this is an auction for a painting (8 inches x 6 inches) created by me, which I call “Cinnamon & Sugar Shaker.” It was created on gessoed panel with high quality oil paint. This is a sugar shaker that my grandmother used to mix cinnamon and sugar so it could be put on buttered toast. I couldn’t resist using it when I saw it in one of her old cabinets. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed using the shaker as a young child.

Charlie Brown Football

Hi, my name is William Grant and this is an auction for a painting (8 inches x 6 inches) created by me, which I call “Charlie Brown Football.” It was created on gessoed panel with high quality oil paint. The theme is of an old toy that has seen better days. I was inspired to create it after seeing an old football lying around in a toy box. The football was so beat up and deflated that it reminded me of something that Charlie Brown would own. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed painting it.
